
Pastor of Zion's Church:Rev. Linda Higgins
Pastor Linda (The Rev. Linda Higgins) received her MDiv. from Yale Divinity School and her BA from Lafayette College. She began her ministry in Easton, Pennsylvania in 1983 and since then she has had ministerial positions in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. She has also worked as a teacher, Christian educator, social worker and counselor.
Linda and her husband, Doug have three college-age children.

Director of Christian Education/Youth Work Coordinator:
Debra E. Brauner
Debbie
Brauner has served Zion's
Church since 1996. She is a 1974 graduate of Catawba College,
with a B.A. in Religion. In the years prior to joining Zion's staff, Debbie held positions at Head
Start, an area nursing home, and as a computer programmer. Debbie works closely
with an advisor for the Youth Group to plan and supervise youth activities at Zion's. She also works with the Sunday
school officers to oversee the Sunday school program, participates on various
committees of the church, and serves as a quitarist in the group that helps to
lead the Contemporary Worship Service.

and her husband Tom reside in Palm and are the parents of two daughters.

Secretary:
Tina M. Weaver
Tina M. Weaver, Church Secretary, was born in Pottstown and has lived here all her life. Tina has a wonderful husband, Gene and two beautiful children, Michael and Laura. Tina has been a member of Zion's Church since 1976. Zion's has been the site of many major happenings in Tina's life; Confirmation, marriage ceremony, her children's baptisms and confirmations, and Michael's Eagle Scout ceremony. Tina has worked in Zion's church office since July 14, 1997. Tina also serves on the Altar Guild and participates in various other groups in the life of the church.
Tina's family is her life and enjoyment. She enjoys going to her adult children's activities at college as well as off-campus activities. Tina and her husband, Gene, also enjoy taking Gene's Fiero to car shows.

Organist and Music Director:
Karen S. Huss
Karen
S. Huss, Music Director was born in Pottstown, PA, and except for a brief period when her husband,
Richard, was in the military and they made their home in Kansas,
she has lived her entire life in Pottstown. Karen
studied piano for eight years with Ruth Yohn and took organ lessons for an
additional five years from J. Richard Smoker. Karen's musical career began when
she assumed the position of organist at St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church, Douglassville, PA
in 1973. She came to Zion's
U.C.C. in December of 1988, thus laying claim to being the longest person on
staff at the present time. Karen is also employed full-time as a legal
secretary for the law firm of Yergey, Daylor, Allebach, Scheffey, Picardi.
Karen
and Rick are the parents of two children. In their spare time, they enjoy their
swimming pool and hot tub at home, taking road trips in their convertible, and enjoy being grandparents.
