What is a Prayer Chain?
The prayer chain is a form of prayer ministry. It's members faithfully offer up prayers on behalf of others by lifting up specific requests, concerns and thanksgivings. The members of the prayer chain are committed to prayer and take to heart Jesus' words "Ask and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you." (NRSV Matthew 7:7)
How Does It Work?The prayer chain is a network of individuals who receive prayer requests, forward them to the next available person in the network, and pray immediately and regularly for each request.What About Confidentiality?All prayer requests are held in confidence and are shared only with other members of the prayer chain ministry, the pastor, and God.Can I Become a Part of this Ministry?All are welcome to be a part of this vital ministry. All you need is a desire and commitment to pray immediately upon receiving a request and regularly in the privacy of your home. Prayer lists are updated frequently and are made available to prayer chain members.
